In the afternoon, begin your trek to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), perched high on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro valley. This spiritual landmark is one of the most iconic sites in Bhutan. The trek to the monastery is about 4-5 hours round trip, passing through pine forests and offering spectacular views along the way. As you ascend, the monastery becomes visible from various vantage points, enhancing the sense of accomplishment upon reaching the top.
